Re: AT-50....From Holland
The point of pre-ignition is that the fuel has enough time for burn completely.
For setting pre-ignition you unscrew spark plug, put a caliper into the valve and measure the higher position of the piston. You must rotate flywheel by hand counterclockwise.
Now, you set the caliper 0.8mm lower than the highest position of the piston (example: if you measured 30mm, you set the new distance to 30,8mm). Now you turn the flywheel again. At the point when piston hits the caliper, you draw two dots on the same line, one on the rotor, one on the case of the engine. So, when this to dots meet, at that time contacts should start to open. You can configurate this by revolving a stator behind the rotor.
To test when the contacts begin to open it's most useful to use multimeter (ohmmeter), or you can just turn the flywheel to open the contacts, place between them a thin sheet of paper, turn the flywheel backward and pull the paper at the same time you turn the flywheel.
I hope you understood most of the thing, sorry for unperfect english .

Re: AT-50....From Holland
You can help with this: http://www.scribd.com/doc/29821910/Puch ... ice-Manual
It's the same thing, only thing you must pay attention to is in what direction in the arrow on the flywheel turned to!
And i forgot to think about this- are you using electronic ignition without contacts or the ordinary one?

Re: AT-50....From Holland
hmm its still complicated,
and which sprocket ratio do you guys recommend me with bt?
i want to keep as much acceleration but no over-revs , in Holland i can only get front-sprocket 12
and for rear-sprocket i use Rieju rear-sprocket (6 holes, this one : http://www.speed-parts.nl/tandwielen/ac ... rieju.html )
do they fit?
so i need to know which rear-sprocket i need ; so 12/??

Re: AT-50....From Holland
