Manual Shifting Engine
Hello,
First: I'm sorry for not talking slovenian, but I'm from Holland so I don't talk Slovenian
Second: I will probably post this in the wrong section of the forum, if so can someone place is at the good section
Because Slovenia the land of Tomos, I tought there would be a bit more knowledge here about Tomos.
My question:
Is the motor mount of an A3/A35 engine the same as the motor mount of a 4L engine(or other manual shifting Tomos engines)?
What kind of modifications must be made to fit an Manual engine on an A3?
Because if I can find an manual engine cheap, then I want to fit one into my A3
Thanks in advance!

Re: Manual Shifting Engine
It's must be an 50cc engine (bigger engines are not allowed in the netherlands)
Do you also know what kind of modifications must be made to fit an manual engine into an A3?
And if the motormount is the same?

Re: Manual Shifting Engine
you have to make the "carriers" of the engine shorter. the two of them fits automaticly, for the third one you will have to do adapter (two metal plates with holes for screw on each side of them)

Re: Manual Shifting Engine
I've seen the video, but if you can make an photo of that motormount and how the carburetor is placed and how the exhaust is placed. That would be nice
Re: Manual Shifting Engine
i guess you will have to make custom "knee" for exhaust and carburetor... or at least fix the "carrier" of exhaust

Re: Manual Shifting Engine
That would not be an problem since I work as welder/sheet metal worker in the holidays.
But I want to know how many work it is, and how complicated it is before I start.
