The only pro I can think of is less fuel use.

Despite the brakes are 90mm instead of 105 mm, the brakes work really fine.
I fitted new brakesshoes in them, so now I've to pay attention to not brake to hard

The front wheel is assembled I made the wheel straight in an old front fork
